We have been involved in installing, maintaining, testing and inspecting electrical equipment for our customers for many years. Our engineers have undertaken a range of training and qualifications related to this, but we wanted to bring all our experience together under one umbrella organisation. We also wanted external verification that we are undertaking our work at a high standard, and are complying with the relevant regulations.
We took the decision in 2019 to apply to be an approved contractor under the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC)
We were independently assessed in June 2019, to ensure that we are competent and capable of meeting the relevant technical and safety standards, codes of practice and rules of the approved contractor scheme. This included a review of a sample of electrical work we have undertaken.
We passed our assessment and were accepted on to the approved contractor scheme in July 2019.
This means that we benefit from the advice, guidance, training and support from the NICEIC, so you know we’re supported by experts.
We will be assessed each year to make sure we are still competent and compliant, so you can continue to have confidence that we are operating correctly.
